It had all the appearances / of what it meant / to be / carved out from the outer / of its interior / but truly / it was a masquerade / a falsity / shrouded in blindness / unkept yet / surfacly groomed. / its appearance / gleamed / of perfection. / daunting in its glamour / and its ability to seduce / arousing, / it served / its purpose / well. / it contented all. / yet deeper / below the underbelly, / the soft spoken part left / exposed / and vulnerable, / was this and only this. / no more or less / simply, a confiscated counterfeit / of denial / and / undeniably / yet falsely / true.
